Rangeland Users Initiative

Mission

Our Mission is to serve and promote Justice for all, quality Education and Development of the Youth, Women and Children in poorest communities in the Northern Kenya Counties. we are Promoting our strength to stand as self-help people by promoting Human Rights and Access to justice in partnership with Other Organizations. We also strive to address challenges facing our Pastoral Communities including but not limited to victims of Injustices, Natural disasters, conflict and wars.

Vision

RUI desires to be sustainable Organization for the realization of elimination of Injustices and Conflicts; and enhance sustainable socio-economic development in Pastoral inhibited areas where people enjoy peace and cohesion, Access Justice, Good Governance, get quality Education and Women Empowerment.

Objectives

To promote access to justice, Good Governance and Accountability, Conflict Resolution and Human Rights, Environment and Natural Resources, Climate Change Resilience/Responses, Sustainable Agriculture, Health Water and Sanitation, HIV/AIDS awareness, Women Empowerment and FGM, Urban Planning and Development, and use of Information and Communication Technology.
